These Street Style Icons Have the Best Celebrity Style of 2021
Stalking celebrity style is one of my favorite hobbies. I live for red carpet live streams, tunnel outfits, and paparazzi pictures. I spend far too much of my free time carefully analyzing who wears what from last season's runways, who's an outfit repeater, and who needs to fire their stylist (we won’t name names).
It was no easy task to whittle down the ample number of street style icons on my Best Dressed List, the A-Listers below have the best celebrity style of 2021.
These It-Girls, rappers, and actors are killing the street style game in 2021.
Cardi B
Cardi B isn't afraid to take a fashion risk. Whether it's wearing H2T floral at Paris Fashion Week or showing up to court in a six-foot-long feather coat, she's all about being extra.
Cardi B has a love for high fashion and often wears experimental looks from designers like Richard Quinn, Thierry Mugler, and Edda Gimnes. As a rapper, she's no stranger to tried-and-true fashion houses like Chanel, Gucci, and Versace. It's no surprise that after dropping the famous line in I Like It about "those Balenciagas, the ones that look like socks," that she became the next face of Balenciaga.
Chiara Ferragni
With over 21 million Instagram followers, a popular blog, an eponymous clothing brand, a tattoo-covered rapper for a baby daddy, and a wedding worth an estimated $5.2 million, Chiara Ferragni certainly has clout. Her success has earned her the title of the world's most famous fashion blogger. Very 21st century if you ask me.
As an influencer and fashion week street style icon, Chiara always sports the season's biggest trends and a must-have designer handbag. Like a true Italian, she has a weakness for Italian fashion houses like Gucci, Fendi, and Prada.
Hailey Bieber
I'm not sure which I'm more envious of: Hailey Bieber's marriage to every girl's middle school crush or how good her closet must be. When she's not sitting front row at fashion shows or going to church with her man, she's busy hanging with her super famous friends.
Hailey Bieber is one of those girls who can pull off anything: 80's power suits, neon sweatpants, even sweaty yoga pants. While she usually sticks to super casual outfits during the day, she's not afraid to wear an eye-catching dress or matching set on a night out.
Rihanna
Rihanna is fearless—both with her style and her career. When she's not making money moves as the CEO and Artistic Director of Fenty, CEO of Fenty Beauty, and CEO of Savage X Fenty, and writing Grammy-winning hits, she's living it up at Carnival in Barbados. Her adventurous street style perfectly embodies her work hard, play hard mentality.
Like the smart businesswoman she is, Bad Girl Riri often wears looks from her namesake Fenty label. Not to mention, how good she looks in a power suit. In the winter, she wears oversized outerwear just about everywhere, including the club, the studio, and the airport.
Bella Hadid
I have a theory that Bella Hadid is a 90s supermodel reincarnate. She's unafraid to experiment with her style. She's never afraid to show off her model bod. And she has an uncanny ability to pull off things that would look terrible on just about anyone else.
Bella's quirky outfits often blend styles from the 90s and early 2000s— think vintage mom jeans, boyfriendy outerwear, and minimalist tanks— with fashion-forward streetwear from designers like Off-White, Louis Vuitton, and Chrome Hearts.
Zendaya
At only 24 years old, Zendaya has already gone from Disney Channel star to Emmy-winning actress. In 2019, her Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya collab solidified her all-star status in today's fashion scene.
Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, loves to put her in monochrome suits, high-waisted flares, and mini dresses that show off her long legs and slender frame. When she isn't styled to perfection for an event, Zendaya sticks to basic tees, hoodies, and sweats. Ahhh, celebs. They're just like us!
Alexa Chung
If you need inspiration for how to style 60s mod looks and 70s vintage outfits, look no further than British model and fashion designer, Alexa Chung. Her eclectic style mixes mod-inspired British classics like swing dresses, trench coats, and tartan plaid with modern French-girl favorites like overalls, striped tees, and leather separates.
Her self-titled clothing line, ALEXACHUNG is filled with British outerwear, vintage-inspired sweaters, and mod midi dresses that stay true to her personal style.
Kim Kardashian West
Hate her or love her, Kim Kardashian West is one of the biggest street style icons of our time. Over the hundreds of outfits, she's sported throughout the many many seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, our little Kimmy's style has earned itself a special place in our hearts.
Our girl KKW's street style is all about that body-ody-ody. As her soon-to-be ex-hubby Kanye West's muse, her casual looks are… I mean were… usually H2T Yeezy. Her billionaire celebrity status means she can pull statement pieces from the archives of designers like Thierry Mugler, Balmain, and Givenchy.
Zoë Kravitz
As the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, good fashion sense is written into Zoë Kravitz's DNA. She has equally good style IRL as she does in on-screen in Big Little Lies and High Fidelity. As the face of Saint Laurent beauty, she's a big fan of wearing YSL and designers with similar French-girl vibes.
Her style is equal parts boho and rocker chic. She's unafraid to show a little skin and take a fashion risk with a lingerie-inspired or metallic number. See the beaded tunic and bike shorts she wore to her wedding rehearsal dinner for reference.
Kendall Jenner
As one of the highest-paid supermodels in the world, it's no surprise that Kendall Jenner’s model-off-duty style is always on point. She loves showing off her mile-long legs and pilates abs in skintight fits and sheer fabrics.
For casual looks, Kendall sticks to 90s-inspired streetwear and minimalist athleisure. She loves wearing early 2000's dresses and matching sets on nights out and appearances at A-List afterparties. Don't count her out in a power suit though. She does make $22.5 million a year after all!
