Our ‘This Is Not Vetements’ Cropped Blazer is a sustainable look-alike of a cut-off blazer from Vetements’ Fall 21 collection. Staying true to the house’s anti-fashion aesthetic, Demna designed the cropped jacket to mimic upcycled vintage clothing, a style exploding in popularity amongst environmentally-savvy Gen-Z shoppers.
But when the point of a trend is to appear straight out of a vintage shop, why waste the resources required to make something new? Amid supply chain chaos and a climate crisis fueled by the fashion industry’s old guard, why create garments that already exist?
